This is a nice train set and pretty durable. We broke some of the track by stepping on it but that is our fault. I did want to purchase more track, but have to buy a whole new train set. I was willing to do this until I saw that the cheapest shipping was UPS ground at over $17.00!!!Quality

I found this train set at a taq sale (yard sale) last summer and all I needed was a battery for the train. My three year old loves it, and his nine yr old big brother actually enjoys playing with him. It is simple to assemble, even for a three year old! The train works on and off the tracks, and it is a durable toy. My boys tend to break a lot of stuff!Quality
I actually was looking for the toy on-line to buy more parts, because that is the only problem we have come across, the boys lost a few pieces of the track.

Our preschool has a set of these trains and a few of the car's hook-up sides have snapped off. To be fair, 3 yr. olds play with them and the set is not brand new however if Fisher Price and Play Skool can make strong plastics, why can't this company? Also, I don't see where we can get replacement cars so we would have to purchase another complete train set. Hopefully there is a company troubleshooter who can solve this problem as that's the only one that I can see. The children love the train set.Quality

I bought this set several years ago on a TV Shopping channel. I think I only paid $15 at the time. As each grandchild came along it has been used over and over again. If you remove the small pieces it is safe for all ages e.g. 9 mos and up. The child can pick up the train at any time and plunk it down on tracks or floor and it goes. They simply can't break it. My 2 1/2 yr old granson now plays with it and mixes it up with other trains - it is amazing how long it holds his attention. Best of all is how easy to assemble tracks and take apart and store in the carry case. We now have a 6 month old grand nephew and he will get one for Christmas. My opinion suitable for ages 9 months to perhaps age 5.Quality
